App Store Connect Reviews – Looker Studio Connector

EMLLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the App Store Connect Reviews Looker Studio Community Connector (the “Connector”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Connector.
By using the Connector, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect
The Connector requires users to provide the following information:
- App Store Connect App ID
- Issuer ID
- Key ID
- Private Key (.p8 content) for App Store Connect API access
- Optional configuration parameters (such as row limits)
This information is used solely to authenticate requests to the Apple App Store Connect API and retrieve App Store customer review data.
We do not request or collect:
- Your Google account password
- Your Apple ID password
- Personal Google account data beyond what is required for Google Apps Script execution

3. Google User Data & OAuth Scope Usage
The Connector uses Google OAuth solely to enable execution within Google Apps Script.
Specifically, the Connector requests the following scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request
This scope is used only to:
- Send secure HTTPS requests to the Apple App Store Connect API
- Retrieve user-authorized App Store review data
We do not use Google OAuth scopes to:
- Access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or other personal Google data
- Read or modify user Google account content
Google user data is not stored, shared, or used for any purpose other than enabling the Connector to function.

4. Google User Data Access
The Connector does not access, collect, store, or share any personal Google user data such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar information.
The only Google permission used is:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request
This permission is used solely to allow Google Apps Script to make secure external HTTPS requests to the Apple App Store Connect API.
No Google user data is read, modified, stored, or transmitted at any time.

5. How We Use Information
The information provided is used exclusively to:
- Generate a secure JWT token for the Apple App Store Connect API
- Retrieve App Store review data for the specified App ID
- Deliver that data to Google Looker Studio for reporting and visualization
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or analytics unrelated to connector functionality.

6. Data Storage
Credentials may be stored securely using Google Apps Script Properties Service.
Data retrieved from Apple is processed within the Google Apps Script execution environment and delivered directly to Looker Studio.
We do not store retrieved App Store review data outside of the Google Apps Script or Looker Studio environment.
EMLLC does not operate a separate backend server for storing or processing your data unless explicitly stated in future updates.

7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your credentials or retrieved data with third parties.
Data flows only between:
- Your Google account
- Google Apps Script
- Apple App Store Connect API
- Google Looker Studio
All communications occur over secure HTTPS connections.

We implement reasonable technical safeguards including:
- Secure HTTPS communication
- Secure credential storage via Google Apps Script
- No intentional logging of private keys or sensitive credentials
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Users are responsible for safeguarding their App Store Connect API credentials.

Credentials and configuration data are retained only as long as necessary to provide connector functionality.
Users may revoke access at any time by:
- Removing the connector from Looker Studio
- Revoking authorization via their Google account permissions
